International Aussie authors satellite into Logan

Two Internationally successful Australian authors will be visiting Logan this month to talk about their most recent novels and to have a discussion with book lovers about the process of building a compelling narrative.

Logan Libraries have organised two author talks with award-winning crime author Chris Hammer and actor-turned-writer Judy Nunn.

Author and Journalist Chris Hammer. His latest novel is “Treasure and Dirt” published September.

Chris Hammer is a former journalist and the author of the international bestsellers Scrublands, Silver and Trust. His latest novel Treasure and Dirt is set in Australia’s outback opal country. Chris will be joined at the talk by Brisbane author Ben Hobson.

Author Judy Nunn recently released her latest novel Showtime! It tells the story of the golden age of Australian show business from England’s cotton mills to Melbourne’s theatres. Ms Nunn was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2015 for her significant service to literature as an author and also the performing arts as a scriptwriter and actor. She has sold more than one million books in Australia.

The author talks won’t be held at the Logan Library. Instead they will be held online via Zoom.
