Logan police investigate dangerous tailgating incident

Logan city police are asking for help in relation to an alleged dangerous driving incident in Crestmead.

Initial inquires indicate at 10:30am on Monday (Nov. 9) a blue Holden utility was travelling along Bumstead Road when a white Holden utility has tailgated and swerved at the blue vehicle.

The blue utility has turned left onto Chambers Flat Road and was followed by the white vehicle which continued to attempt to force the blue utility off the road for a considerable distance.

A physical altercation between the drivers took place when the vehicles stopped at the intersection of Chambers Flat Road and Park Ridge Road.

The driver of the blue utility was able to drive away and contact police.

The drivers of the vehicles are known to each other.

Any members of the public who witnessed this incident or may have dashcam footage are urged to contact police to assist with their investigations.
