Two Gold Coast tradies who chased and filmed a dangerous driver are being praised by many members of the public. Police, however, have criticised how they went about it.
The pair's actions led to the arrest of a suspected drunk driver. Police have nonetheless described the way the tradies pursued and filmed the driver as "distressing".
The footage has circulated widely online. It shows what has been described as a car ramming incident, and the men behind it could now expect a visit from police of their own.
Police have not detailed in the material available what, if anything, the two men may face, and further details about the incident and the arrest have not been confirmed.
