Three teenage boys have been charged after knives were allegedly stolen at Sunnybank Hills, a Calamvale assault and an armed robbery attempt at Holland Park.

Police have charged three teenagers over a string of alleged armed robbery, stealing and assault incidents across Brisbane's south on Thursday 29 October.

Police allege the three boys stole knives from a supermarket in Sunnybank Hills around 4:16pm. Soon after, they allegedly tried to steal a vehicle from a shopping centre car park in Calamvale.

Around 4:50pm, a 27-year-old person was allegedly assaulted by the three boys in the same Calamvale car park. The 27-year-old suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The teenagers left on foot and later boarded a bus.

Around 5:33pm, it will be further alleged the teenagers approached a 14-year-old boy at a Holland Park bus station, produced a knife and demanded his mobile phone. The boy was not physically injured.

A 14-year-old Logan Reserve boy and a 13-year-old Crestmead boy were found at a Fruit Grove train station. Police say they allegedly tried to evade officers but were taken into custody a short time later. Around 6:45pm, a 14-year-old Slacks Creek boy was taken into custody at his home.

The Slacks Creek boy was charged with stealing, attempted robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed in company, and attempted unlawful entry of a vehicle for committing an indictable offence in company.

The Logan Reserve boy was charged with stealing, armed robbery, obstructing a police officer, attempted robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed in company, and attempted unlawful entry of a vehicle for committing an indictable offence in company.

The Crestmead boy faces the same charges, except that he was charged with robbery in armed company rather than armed robbery.

All three boys were due to appear in the Richlands Childrens Court on Friday 30 October.
