The Scenic Rim’s One Nation candidate Paul Henselin says a technicality appears to have prevented justice in the case against the culprit who damaged his roadside election signs.
“They need evidence, photographs of the damage being done at the time of the incident” he told MyNewsFeed.
Mr Henselin says the culprit has been identified and a report has been made to police.
“It’s a dirty disgusting act”.
After the incident occured, Mr Henselin said he would take things further, lodging a complaint with the Electoral Commission.
“….and this guy will be facing a $10,000 fine”. Since then, he says his complaint was met with a requirement that the he hand over pictures of the act in progress.
The One Nation candidate said he was disappointed with the actions of this person and hoped it wouldn’t happen again.
