The Tuesday storm cells have moved out to sea,  but forecasters warn more storm activity is expected on Wednesday.

Logan City and the Scenic Rim were under storm advisories on Tuesday afternooon as a system moved through,  dumping rain and hail stones from the Darling Downs to the coast.

Almost 50mm of rain fell in an hour at Kalbar in the Scenic Rim.

The worst appears to have gone through the region,  but the weather bureau’s keeping an eye on the system that’s generating the storm activity,  with the potential for more storms to hit the region on Wednesday.
