Wild weather has returned to South-East Queensland with Greenbank being hardest hit.

More than 70 millimetres of rain fell in just half an hour yesterday afternoon.

It happened as a fast moving storm moved across the region.

Up to four-thousand homes and businesses across Logan City were without power last night with more than a thousand customers in Greenbank being the worst affected.

Other areas included Jimboomba and Chambers Flat.

The storm also caused public transport delays across the region.

The Scenic Rim didn’t escape the storm’s fury either, with nearly 400 homes and businesses losing power last night.

Canungra, Beaudesert and Gleneagle were just some of the suburbs hardest hit.
