You’ll face big fines if you attempt to cross into Qld from NSW

Anyone trying to get through the New South Wales COVID -19 border checkpoints into Queensland is being warned that any attempt will be met by the full force of the law.

Queensland police are now being supported by 120 soldiers at various border checkpoints across the state.

Acting Chief Superintendent Rhys Wildman says the fines for breaking the law are hefty.
