Police have confirmed, a motorcyclist is dead after crashing his machine into a tree along the Baroona Rathdowney Road in Maroon.
The accident occured just after 9:00 Monday morning..
Paramedics treated the rider on scene but he could not be saved. It’s understood, the man was a 40 year old Beaudesert local.
The cause of the crash isn’t yet known.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
