Investigations are continuing into an incident, just north of Logan City on Saturday night, in which a man ended up in hospital.
Police say there was an alleged assault at a private address at Eight Mile Plains at around 9pm.
Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the man and then transported him to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He is reported to be in a stable condition.
