A second man has been charged over the murder of a Logan man earlier this month in Maryborough.
A 38-year-old Island Plantation man was caught Sunday at Mackay Harbour.
He tried to get away from police, but was arrested at the harbour.
The Island Plantation man is expected to appear in Mackay Magistrates Court today.
His arrest follows that of another 45-year old man, who was tracked down by police.
The Crestmead man was allegedly involved in a fight involving three other men at a home in Maryborough on November 1.
He suffered serious injuries and his body was found two days later down an embankment at Ross Creek, near Gympie.
