Bodies found in gutted townhouse

A crime scene has been declared in Logan City, where the bodies of two people have been found in the debris of a house fire in Browns Plains.

The man and woman, aged in their late 40’s, were found several hours after yesterday’s early morning blaze at a townhouse in Moyla Street, which police say appears to have been deliberately lit.

Police are working to determine the events leading up to the fire and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

According to 7 News reporter  ELLIOTT CHIPPER investigators have already confirmed there’s been a history of domestic violence at that location
