Concerns have been raised that some businesses may have to close in the wake of the latest COVID-19 scare facing Goondiwindi and Toowoomba.
Authorities continue to track down the regions visited by a Melbourne couple, who last week fled Victoria and drove to Queensland, not knowing they had the Corona Virus.
They entered the Sunshine State last Saturday morning at the Goondiwindi border before stopping at the local McDonalds.
Then, stopping at the Caltex Toowoomba before heading to the Sunshine Coast.
As reported earlier in this story on My News Feed anyone who was at those locations should get tested immediately.
Australian Medical Association Queensland President Professor Chris Perry has said. “It’s a worry to people who are not vaccinated – It’s a worry to the businesses that may be at risk of closing. It appears they’ve broken the law”.
