Huge sums of unclaimed money in Toowoomba

It’s  been revealed, Toowoomba has one of the biggest amounts of unclaimed money in Queensland.

Across the Sunshine State,  millions of dollars currently sits with Queensland’s Public Trustee.

It’s estimated,  money is owed to about 160-thousand people across the state.

The unclaimed funds are collected from utility companies, real estate investments and deceased estates among others.

Cairns has the biggest money pool,  with a combined two-million dollars owed to locals.

It was closely followed by the Toowoomba region.
