Despite cyber security attackers targeting universities across Queensland through phishing emails and attempting to compromise credentials for financial gain, Griffith University Logan’s campus has been lucky enough to avoid cyber criminals.
Griffith University spokesperson Ben Dobson said the university had been spared a lot of issues because of the excellent maintenance and protocols that are in place.
“At Griffith university, in particular our Logan campus, we’ve been very lucky,” Mr Dobson said.
“We have extremely high security protocols in place which ensures that we have the very best security and management when it comes to a potential cyber attack on the university.”
