With the Easter long weekend approaching, the hunt is on for cheapest fuel in Logan and nearby.
With figures not seen since January, the average price for unleaded at some service stations in the city is sitting between $1.52 and $1.54 a litre.
The Jio at Underwood is charging $1.52, the Metro at Kuraby has unleaded 91 for $1.53 and the Jio at Kingston is selling the same fuel for $1.54 a litre.
But if you travel further afield you can find slightly cheaper petrol just outside Logan.
Petrol Spy reports, today’s cheapest offer is currently $1.51 at Ampol Acacia Ridge North and at Metco in Coopers Plains.
The United at Archerfield is selling unleaded for $1.52 and so is the United service station at Coopers Plains and the Metro at Acacia Ridge.
The 7-11 at in that south Brisbane suburb is one cent more expensive.
Some of the best deals south of Logan can be found at Freedom Fuels in Ashmore and Hope Energy at Biggera Waters. Both have Unleaded 91 priced at $1.56.
