Police investigators from the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Logan that has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
Initial investigations indicate a white Toyota Hilux was travelling north on Mount Lindesay Highway at Boronia Heights when a man riding a trail bike struck the side of the ute at the intersection of Green Road around 6.15pm.
The 29-year-old rider from Marsden was rushed by ambulance to the Princess Alexandra Hospital suffering critical injuries.
The ute driver, a 55-year-old Forestdale man, was not injured.
Anyone with information, or relevant dashcam CCTV footage of the area during that time are asked to contact police.
