There was a fatal road crash Friday morning in Logan City in which a motorcyclist was killed.
The rider’s machine collided with a car at the intersection of Compton Rd and Logan Rd at Slacks Creek at around 7 o’clock.
Paramedics were called to the scene and tried to revive him, but were not able to do so.
A woman was also injured in the accident and was taken to hospital.
The police forensic crash unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
Earlier on Thursday night, five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at Kingston.
Three people, including two children, were transported to Logan Hospital while two other patients were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Also on Thursday night, a woman was transported to the PA Hospital in a stable condition as a precaution following a single-vehicle rollover on the Pacific Highway southbound in Springwood at 10pm.
