An accident of an unusual kind has put a man in hospital after he reportedly fell into a fireplace.
Ambulance crews transported the man to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.
He had burns to his arms and legs after apparently falling into the fireplace at a private residence in South Maclean just before midnight Saturday.
It’s not known what caused the man to fall.
