Flagstone truck driver dies in truck rollover at Tamborine

The Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a man died as a result of a truck crash at Tamborine, near Logan, early this morning.

Initial investigations indicate that about 5.40am, a prime mover was travelling along Waterford Tamborine Road when it veered off the road and collided with a tree rolling down an embankment.

The 33-year-old Flagstone man who was driving the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic was diverted away from the crash site for many hours while the man’s body was recovered from the wreckage.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or dash cam vision that may be able to assist with investigations to come forward.
