Get ready to tuck into a BIG MAC for charity!

Tomorrow is McHappy Day.

Every year McDonalds raises money to support the Ronald McDonald House Charity which provides support for thousands of parents and carers of seriously ill children.  When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it has a dramatic impact on the whole family and that’s why Ronald McDonald’s House Charities provide a range of programs to help families stay together, close to the care they need.

This year, you can do your part to help, by buying a Big Mac on McHappy Day.  McDonalds across the Darling Downs are donating $2 from every Big Mac and 10 cents from every 600ml bottle of water sold tomorrow to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

You can also purchase $5 silly socks (great socks and such good value for $5!) or donate $2, $5 or $10 with helping hands.

McDonalds Chinchilla is also donating $1 from every apple pie sold too!  (My Fave!) and running gold coin raffles.  They’ve also got the local police doing a display and the local boy scouts and girl scouts at the store.  If you like the idea of dressing up and want the chance to win some great prizes, McDonalds Chinchilla is running a Jungle Theme this year and there’s prizes for the best dressed.
