Last night, Logan residents and visitors turned up in their hundreds for the Beenleigh Town Square Twilight Markets. The event ran for four hours from 5pm and was planned to kickstart the festive shopping period.
Market visitors had the chance to choose food from an amazing array of food trucks, enjoy local entertainment, pick up locally made craft and food goods and christmas knick knacks. Organisers put on heaps of activities for kids too with pony rides, balloons and games.
Santa arrives today at Beenleigh market place with a range of activities planned in the centre. The Beenleigh marketplace parade will start outside Commonwealth Bank, near the Food Court, and make its way through the centre before Santa officially opens for photos at 11:15am.
Following the parade, the entertainers will be in Centre until 1pm allowing customers to meet the characters and get a photo. For more details see our story here.
Tonight there’s Christmas fireworks in Beenleigh scheduled for 8:30pm.
