Police have increased their patrols of the border, as Sydney’s lockdown gets extended until the end of the month.
While there’s speculation, Queensland will re-introduce a hard border with New South Wales, there’s been no such confirmation.
Goondiwindi police have already been maintaining fixed positions as well as random checks of motorists crossing over from New South Wales.
