Police are on the look out for a stolen 2017 Mitsubishi Triton utility bearing Queensland registration plates “142 XWT”.
They’re asking for public help to find the vehicle stolen on September 25, from a Loganholme gym.
It’s alleged that around 6 that night a woman gained entry to a gym within a shopping complex using a stolen membership card.
She then allegedly stole car-keys to a white 2017 Mitsubishi Triton from the gym’s bag-rack.
Officers searched a property at Lynelle Street, Marsden, on September 29 where they arrested a 19-year-old woman who was charged with one count of entering premises with intent, stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
She is scheduled to reappear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 11.
Police believe that the woman on-sold the vehicle to a man online on September 27. Around 3.40pm that day, the stolen ute was used to steal petrol from a service station on Kingston Road at Kingston.
Police are now appealing to anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of this vehicle or sees it to come forward.
