All three members of a family from the Darling Downs are dead after a horrifying crash on the Ipswich Motorway at Redbank overnight.
The 37-year-old mother, 39-year-old father and their two-year-old daughter died at the scene after their four wheel drive was hit by a dark blue 2016 Ford Focus driven by a 34 year old man who was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Both vehicles burst into flames when they collided.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for anyone with dash camera footage or additional information about the crash to come forward.
In particular, police would like to hear from people who saw the Ford Focus hatch travelling east in the west bound lanes of the Ipswich Motorway before the crash.
It is unclear at this stage where the Ford Focus entered the motorway, however initial investigations suggest the vehicle may have been travelling in the wrong direction along the Cunningham Highway before the collision.
