Queensland has recorded one new local case of COVID-19 on Brisbane’s southside.

The person is a 13-year old student from St Thomas More College at Sunnybank.
As a precaution students at the school have been sent home as the case is being investigated.
Yesterday a truck driver from New South Wales who’d been in Queensland tested positive.
As a result a number of exposure sites have been identified including Garden City shopping Centre at Upper Mt Gravatt.
The ambulance service has now established a COVID- testing centre at Eight Mile plains just north of Logan City to handle that area.
Meantime, the Queensland New South Wales border bubble will be reinstated next week.
The lockdown of twelve Local Government Areas in New South Wales will be lifted in that state tomorrow morning.
That will include the Northern Rivers and the border border zones near Goondiwindi.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says border restrictions in Queensland for those LGA’s will be lifted from 1am on Monday.
