The Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens Incorporated has under-gone a name change to more accurately recognise their location and importance.
‘Tamborine Mountain Regional Botanic Gardens in the Scenic Rim’ is the new name.
The amendment comes after a strong desire by the organisation to emphasise how truly regional the gardens are.
This name change also touched on how the gardens are embedded in Tamborine Mountain and considered an important part of the entire Scenic Rim.
