Logan City family to sue Dreamworld

A Logan City family is taking legal action against DREAMWORLD after an 8 year old girl was injured on a water ride.

The accident occured nine days ago on the “FULLY 6” water-slide.

The family says the girl was made to walk to the first aid room, leaving a trail of blood behind her with no assistance from staff and it took nearly an hour for an ambulance to be called.

The girl was to taken to Logan hospital for emergency surgery.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Dreamworld has confirmed,  it self-reported the incident to WorkSafe Queensland.

The family has confirmed,  lawyers are looking at potential action.
