Queensland Ambulance Service Senior Operations Supervisor Adrian Tong said a multi-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway northbound at Springwood this morning has left a male motorcyclist with pelvic and abdominal injuries.

“At approximately 10:30 this morning we were called,” he said.

“The crash involved five vehicles and a motorcycle.

“All occupants of the vehicles had minor injuries.”

The male motorcyclist was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition with the High Acuity Response Unit on board.

A total of nine patients were assessed at the scene with four requiring hospitalisation. Two children were transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital stable with minor injuries as a precaution while a stable adult was also taken to Logan Hospital.
