If you are thinking of getting a pet to give a loving home, you’re being encouraged to consider checking out places like the Logan Animal Management Centre and consider giving a beautiful animal a second chance!
REBEL FM’s Jodie Shepherd recently joined Logan City Councillor Laurie Koranski at the centre.
Councillor Koranski says, because of Covid, there’s been a reduction in the number of animals being dropped off at the centre and a rise in the number of families adopting pets.
“There’s a positive in the whole Covid disaster that we’ve been enduring” she said.

“There’s also a Seniors for Seniors program. Any pet over the age of five can be re-homed to anyone with a seniors card”.
Under the program, seniors who meet the critieria will receive lifetime registration of the pet. Should circumstances change and the owner ends up requiring special assistance, the pet can be re-homed.
Ultimately, the Logan Animal Management Centre is the ideal first choice to give a pet a second chance.
