The roundabout on Muchow Rd and Logan Reserve Road is being upgraded to improve motorist and pedestrian safety, which has been deemed especially important by Logan City Council since it is such a busy intersection.

Logan City Deputy Mayor Jon Raven took to social media to share the news.

“There will also be improvements to drain and additional footpaths and pedestrian ramps,” he said.

“There is traffic control in place and the works are expected to be completely by July. Weather and construction conditions pending.

“I went for a drive through there yesterday and even on Sunday there were delays getting through the intersection.

“Please take an alternative route if you can avoid this intersection especially during the morning and afternoon peak.

“Thanks for your patience while these works are being undertaken, it’ll be a much safer intersection once everything is complete.”
