An Eaglby woman has changed her plea at the 11th hour as she prepared to face court on assault charges.
The incident occurred during New Years Eve celebrations at an event in Beenleigh.
She was originally contesting the charge, but earlier this week, the woman changed her plea to guilty
The woman was ordered to pay compensation to the victim – and was slapped with a $1,000 good behaviour bond.
