The Logan Junior Chamber of Commerce is on the lookout for new members from local schools.
President Darius Leah, from Shailer Park State High School, said they currently have four members.
“We have four members from our school and 15 potential members,” he said.
“We’d love to have more members from any Logan City school join.
“It’s really easy to join. Just go to our Facebook page and you can apply there.”
Darius said the Logan Junior Chamber of Commerce seeks to provide high school aged students the keys to entrepreneurial success through equipping them with resources, ideas, innovation and networking opportunities.
“We’re focused on giving our junior members the entrepreneurial building blocks of success,” he said.
“Now that we have our executive committee sorted we need to work on our goals.
“A goal of ours is to host an event. We’d need to get an external speaker. So we’re working on that.”
