Say goodbye to the cheese toast. It’s D-day for all Sizzler restaurants, including the Loganholme location.
The Loganholme, Mermaid Beach, Toowoomba, Maroochydore and Caboolture locations will shut their doors for the final time today.
Workers will be offered redundancy packages or redeployed to Taco Bell or KFC
The first Sizzler restaurant opened in California in 1958. It would be another 22 years before the first Sizzler opened in Australia.
If you’re still keen on visiting a Sizzler, there are still a few in Asia with 67 restaurants operating in Thailand and Japan.
