Logan district police have stepped up their request for the public’s help in their investigation into a possible drive-by shooting earlier this week.

A 17-year old boy presented himself at Logan Hospital to get treated for an injury to the back of his head following an incident involving several people on Wednesday night (January 20) at Logan Reserve.

Two 18-year-old men who were with the teen at the time, did not need any medical treatment.

Officers are investigating whether the boy may have been hit by fragments from a shotgun, fired from a passing vehicle.

Police now believe the incident happened between 6.30pm and 8pm Wednesday.

Detectives are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage from around the Glen Road, Reuben Blvd area at Logan Reserve between those times to contact them.
