Logan Thunder teams secure another 2 wins

Both Logan Thunder Basketball teams have secured another 2 wins against Ipswich Force, only 17 hours after protecting home court.

Bendigo Bank Women maintained their normal ways as they won, 80-64. Your McDonalds Men cruised to a crucial 20-point win, 104-84.

Continuing their hot streak, Bendigo Bank Women were able to secure another win on the road on the back of 2 great performances by Mikaela Ruef and Ashley Taia. The double-double machine, also known as Mikaela Ruef, was all over the game as she poured in 20 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists & 4 steals Ashley Taia was great in the win also as she finished the game with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Bendigo Bank Women now move to 11-0 on the season.

In an overnight turnaround, McDonalds Men were able to secure another fantastic win on the road. In typical Jeremy Kendle fashion he was huge for the team as he poured in 35 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Mitch Young was also dominant in the game as he contributed 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.

The McDonalds Men now move to 8-4 on the season.

Logan Thunder NBL1 North teams will be back action this Sunday at the Thunderdome playing host to the Gold Coast Rollers at 1pm and 3pm.
