Queenslanders who haven’t been vaccinated against COVID-19 are being urged to get a jab this weekend.
State run vaccination centres at locations such as the Logan Entertainment Centre and the Mount Warren Sports Complex are accepting walk-ins tomorrow and Sunday for Pfizer jabs and that also includes people who are over the age of 60.
The vaccination rate in Queensland currently stands at the lowest in Australia at just 58 percent.
Health Minister Yvette D’ath says it’s time to improve that figure.
