Lucky escape from Logan City unit fire

A Logan City man in his 30s has escaped serious injury from a unit fire.

He suffered smoke inhalation in the blaze on Cognac Court, Kingston.

The fire happened a little after 11:30pm Sunday.

Paramedics were called to the scene and took the man to Logan Hospital for observation.

He is said to be in a stable condition.
