The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is now available at more than 20 chemists across Toowoomba.
The vaccine, which has previously been available in other countries, requires two doses around 4-6 weeks apart.
Moderna has been approved for use by the Therapeutic Goods Administration for people aged between 12 and 59.
People over the age of 60 are still able to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine, although the Queensland Government is now allowing those people to receive Pfizer jabs
