More COVID-19 exposure sites revealed in Logan City

  • Rod Stephen is a former television journalist and has worked as Foreign Editor for the Seven Network, Australian Bureau Chief for TV3 New Zealand, UK correspondent for Seven and ABC radio and as a producer for Reuters TV in London as well as SBS in Sydney and Melbourne before returning to Brisbane to work at 4BC.

Authorities are confident they’re getting a handle on Queensland’s COVID-19 outbreak, but they’re still urging us to be vigilant as more venues get added to the list of exposure sites.

It follows yesterday’s news that a student nurse from Griffith University had attended Logan Hospital, however the risk is considered low.

Among the new venues added to the list of exposures sites includes the United petrol station in Loganlea.

A full list can be found on the Queensland Government website  https://www.qld.gov.au/health/conditions/health-alerts/coronavirus-covid-19/current-status/contact-tracing#QLD

Authorities  are saying we’re not out of the woods yet and that mask-wearing, checking into venues and getting tested will also help prevent further outbreaks.
