Detectives have charged a man with manslaughter, following investigations into the death of Danny Herman on Logan River at Eagleby on Friday morning.
It’s alleged that sometime before 7am, Mr Herman and another man known to him became involved in a fight on the riverbank.
As a result , Mr Herman was reported missing in the Albert River and around half an hour later his body was found floating in the river at the end of Logan Street.
Tonight, police have charged a 30-year-old Eagleby man with manslaughter.
He’s due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court this coming Monday.
