Mountain bike accident puts man in hospital

A man is recovering in hospital after being injured in a mountain bike accident at Kooralbyn in the Scenic Rim.

Ambulance officials were unable to describe the degree of injury suffered by the man,  except to say that a patient was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra hospital in a stable condition.

It’s understood,  the injured person suffered chest injuries in the accident after falling of their bike on Routley Drive Kooralbyn.
