A Brisbane-based property developer has plans to build a new childcare centre, with cafe and office space at Greenbank.
Logan City Council has received a Material Change of Use Code Application for a Childcare Centre, Food and Drink Outlet and Office at 284-292 Spring Mountain Drive, Greenbank.
The application was lodged by Griffith Group One Pty Ltd earlier this month.
According to the Griffith Group website, Greenbank Early Learning is set to be a 90 place childcare centre on 4000sqm of land with a boutique café integrated into the design adjoining the entry of the centre.
The architecturally designed centre has been pre-committed by a quality national operator, with the proposed development to involve the establishment of a new L-Shaped building, car park and surrounding garden space.
It is anticipated that the proposed childcare centre will be operated by fourteen staff.
The proposed development seeks to be operated between 6.30am and 6.30pm.
The development includes a total gross floor area of 992m2, accompanied by a total of 669.98m2 of outdoor play space.
The centre is set to have 37 car parking spaces, consisting of 25 visitor spaces and 12 staff spaces.
Logan City Council will decide on the proposal at a later date.
