The Queensland Police Service said it is committed to reducing the number of lives lost on the state's roads, but enforcement alone cannot stop all dangerous driving behaviours. Police urged motorists to consider every choice they make behind the wheel, warning that driving under the influence, speeding, driving distracted or fatigued, or not wearing a seatbelt puts lives at serious risk.
