With the member for Logan Cameron Dick on holidays (and well deserved ofcourse) the M.P. has immediately tweeted about “the importance of the Government’s strategy for long term skilled jobs in this state”.
This is in reference to today’s announcement in which Queensland biotech firm ELLUME has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract with the U.S. to ramp up production of its Covid-19 home testing kits. Click HERE to read the firm’s announcement.
Attempts have been made to reach the local MP for local reaction, as the member for Woodridge.
Perhaps there’s an opportunity for Logan City locals, particularly those in Woodridge, to be involved or secure employment through this contract?

Tweet from Cameron Dick “More jobs for Queenslanders”.
Could this good news be helpful to inspire other businesses the MP’s electorate ?
Despite Cameron Dick being on holidays and being able to use his twitter account, it seems his office won’t afford him the ability to communicate directly with voters in his electorate, about the potential for local reaction.
Media spokesman Geoff Breusch told MY NEWS FEED: “It’s not relevant to Logan City and is only relevant to the U.S.”‘ This is confusing since Cameron Dick was talking up the opportunity of jobs for Queenslanders in his tweet.
It’s a missed opportunity for more good news to be promoted locally for Logan City. As always, we leave the door open and would welcome further comment from the Woodridge MP.
