A massive clean up operation is underway today across parts of Logan City following yesterday’s huge rain event across South East Queensland.
The Weather Bureau says Hotham Creek recorded 113mm of rain in an hour.
Beenleigh and Eagleby have been the worst flood hit areas .

She has said t’s a mess. “This is the second time we’ve been hit in about a week and a half, the same issue so we’re pretty frustrated”.
“If anyone’s got a spare mop, we could certainly do with some help”.
Yesterday’s rain event also prompted warnings of potential flash flooding
The Weather Bureau’s Matt Marshall has said yesterday’s rainfall was significant and there’s more on the way.
He adds, another front will arrive today from the west bringing more rain.
Forecasters believe this rain event will persist for the next few days and we won’t see sunshine until at least Thursday.
