Those with him included  Senior Sergeant Ken Murray and local officers were joined by south-east Queensland Assistant Commissioner Brian Wilkins, Inspector Tracy Dale and Scenic Rim MP Jon Krause.

Mr Ryan told the gathering,  he was very happy to see the work being carried out.

Construction was delayed when asbestos was found on site and then further delayed recently due to wet weather, however it should be finished by the end of the year.

According to Beaudesert Senior Sergeant Murray, “Beaudesert Police were proud to host the Police Minister and update him on the new Police station build. All our officers are excited and keen to move in hopefully by the end of the year“.

It’s expected,  60 officers will be able to work at the facility once completed.
