Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery of a woman and theft of her car at Tabooba, in the Scenic Rim on Thursday to contact them.
Around 4:00am, the 40-year-old woman had arrived at the front of a friend’s house on Christmas Creek Road when a white Holden utility with red and blue flashing lights approached her 2009 black Toyota Landcruiser.
A man carrying what appeared to be a firearm in a holster approached and told her to get out of the vehicle and put her hands on a nearby fence which the woman did.
She then saw her Landcruiser and the utility drive away at high speed in a northerly direction towards Beaudesert.
The 40-year-old Tarome woman wasn’t hurt during the incident.
The Landcruiser was found damaged at Sandy Creek Road, Josephville on Friday morning.
