Logan district police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting Wednesday night in Logan Reserve.
There was a physical altercation involving several people in which a 17-year old boy got a wound to the back of his head and police are looking into whether the teen was hit by fragments from a shotgun fired from a passing vehicle.
The 17-year old was treated at Logan Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, while two other 18-year old men who were with him did not need medical attention.
The incident happened between 6pm and 7pm.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time is urged to contact police.
