Replacing ageing fire hydrants during September across Logan

The Logan City Council has announced that it will be replacing ageing fire hydrants across selected Logan suburbs during September.  The new hydrants will be installed to ensure they operate effectively if needed by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service – the QFS. Some residents in the following suburbs may experience minor water disruptions when the hydrants are replaced.  The affected suburbs include;
  • Crestmead
  • Boronia Heights
  • Park Ridge
  • Park Ridge South
  • Greenbank
Logan City Council will be advising residents in these suburbs ahead of time by letterbox, two business days prior to work being conducted in the area.
Residents are advised that if they have any questions to email Logan City Council at watercomms@logan.qld.gov.au
